> #LP# Thoughts & Words // Thoughts &
Words // produced by Mike Batt / [UK Liberty ORIG LBS83224E] Morning sky - And the tears fall like rain - Friends - Back in 1939 - Today has come - Give me a reason // Go out and find the sun - Seven years - Father and son - Lifetime - Annette - Vision - Charlie Gates Thoughts & Words ... former known as 'The Pandas', later known as 'Pandamonium' Bob Ponton - harmonica & Rickenbacker bass / Martin Curtis - drums / Mike Batt - piano note at ebay... Rare album by Thoughts and Words which is mainly acoustic and is slightly whimsical on some songs with heavy cello ,while some tracks have a slightly rock/folk feel. This album is full of great songs with good strong melodys. The first track on side 1 has a slight Byrds influence and moves along at a nice bright pace. The album was produced by Mike Batt but I would not class it as being commercial as it has that slight edge that makes it a bit different. What's more it's a nice late mono pressing as most people had stereo players by 1969.Record is excellent ,has plenty of shine there are a few light surface marks on either side but both sides play really well with nice strong sound quality coming out of the speakers.Labels are excellent with no spindle wear. ... information from Toned-F, thank you! |
